Inaugural Elementary School Art Exhibition Showcases Student Talent

In honor of the Year of the UAE 50th, the theme of the 2022 ACS Elementary Art Exhibition, “UAE & Me,” highlights each of our elementary students’ connections to the UAE and their communities.

This year ACS was fortunate to welcome three exceptional visiting artists, Tariq “Rick” Sharif, Rabab Tantawy, Hanneke Reinalda-Poot, who worked with Grade 3, 4 and 5 students. Each of these artists were selected because of their unique vision and path to becoming a professional artist. Our students had the rare opportunity to learn from and collaborate with these artists as well as our very own elementary art teacher, Mr. Baldwin, to create some impressive works of art.

The exhibition is the culmination of their extraordinary work together, showcasing the year-long journey of our students into creativity and self-discovery.
