Three ACS Students Advance as Finalists in National Merit Scholarship Program
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has determined which of the semifinalists named in September 2021 are advancing to finalist standing in the National Merit Scholarship Program.
ACS students Madhav Ajaymohan, Taylor Campbell and Sharif Hassen have been named finalists for the 2022 U.S. National Merit Scholarship Program.
These three ACS standouts are among approximately 15,000 finalists. From this group, the National Merit Scholarship Corp. will select 7,500 scholarship winners. Scholarships, worth a total of about $30 million, will be announced beginning in April and go throughout the summer.
The program annually recognizes those high school students with U.S. passports who demonstrate definitive marks of academic excellence, using student scores on the Preliminary SAT qualifying test to initially determine status.
