Welcome to the High School section of the American Community School Abu Dhabi (ACS)! Whether you are a returning or prospective family, educator or just browsing to learn more about our wonderful school I hope that you enjoy your visit.
The academic program at ACS prepares our culturally diverse student body for a lifelong commitment to learning, service and global citizenship. All high school students are enrolled in a rigorous American college preparatory curriculum in which English is the language of instruction. ACS Abu Dhabi is a proud IB Diploma School and in addition to our many IB course offerings, students may choose to take AP courses online through the Virtual High School program. Courses also enable Muslim students to pass UAE graduation requirements.
Our dynamic educational approach promotes excellence in academics, athletics and the arts. ACS offers a comprehensive co-curricular activities program as well as school socials and spirit-building activities. As a member of the Middle East South Asian Conference, the ACS Sand Vipers travel to and compete in academic, arts and athletic events throughout the Middle East. In addition, we are excited to offer our students a wide range of service opportunities in which they are actively engaged.
The high school faculty consists of a talented team of educators whose dedication fosters excellence in all aspects of students’ lives. ACS graduates are responsible, well-rounded leaders who are well prepared for life beyond high school as productive and compassionate world citizens.
As the Assistant Principal over the past three years, I have grown close to our community and I am thrilled to be leading the High School into another fantastic year. With over twelve years of international education experience in a variety of countries, and in a wide range of roles, I am honored to be serving ACS as the Acting High School Principal.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our school and please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Kind Regards,
Mr. Geoff Morgan
High School Principal
