Welcome to ACS Elementary Counseling

ACS has a full-time elementary school counseling and guidance program, providing classroom guidance lessons, small student groups, short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention, as well as consultation for parents and teachers. ACS counselors follow the professional ethics of guidance and counseling as advocated by the American School Counselor Association.

During the school year, topics of the school counseling program shall include our Viper Values, social and behavioral issues, and more:

During the year, students have the opportunity to be acknowledged by the school if they are “Caught Doing Good”, which is a school-wide positive reinforcement program. Students are also able to seek help with friendship, behavior, and social issues through our Peer Mediation Program.
