Welcome to admissions

 There are over 1,000 students from 50 countries currently enrolled at ACS. Approximately sixty-eight percent from North America; nine percent from Europe; six percent from the Middle East and the remainder from other regions of the world.

ACS was created to serve the needs of American children residing in Abu Dhabi, and as such priority is given to American students for admission. However, enrollment is open to any English-speaking student who meets the academic and behavioral standards of the school, provided space is available at that time.

The school does not have the capacity to meet the needs of students with moderate or significant learning problems or physical disabilities.

Children enrolling in a class must have reached the required age by September 1. Those applying for entry to Kindergarten I must be four years old by the above date. For Kindergarten II, five years old is the requirement. First graders must be six years old and so on. Enrollment decisions are made by the school’s Admissions Committee.
