Welcome

Learning can make seemingly impossible things possible.  Learning and teaching have been the common thread that has earned the American Community School of Abu Dhabi a reputation equal to the better international schools in the world.

I was drawn to the diversity of ACS, the welcoming environment and its strong presence in the international school community.  It is my hope that you will have a similar experience as you begin to explore the expansive program available to our students. Whether you’re a family researching our courses offerings, an alumnus looking to reconnect with your alma mater, a parent interested in your child’s extra-curricular program or a current student checking out the full complement of the ACS program you will find something in this web site for you.

As nothing can replace a personal conversation or visit, we encourage you to stop by the school and visit with the faculty and school staff to get a better sense for the caring, supportive and challenging environment that establishes a strong foundation for success at ACS and wherever your next stop takes you.  The size of our campus makes it possible for us to get to know one another quite well, forming friendships that would be unlikely or impossible in any other settings.

I consider it a great privilege to work at ACS and I am confident that working with one another will continue the proud tradition that those before us have so competently shaped.  I invite you to get to know us--and let us get to know you.
