Welcome to Admissions
On October 29, 2009, there were 991students from 52 countries enrolled at ACS. Approximately sixty-four percent from North America; fourteen percent from Europe; seven percent from the Middle East and the remainder from other regions of the world.
ACS was created to serve the needs of American children residing in Abu Dhabi, and as such priority is given to American students for admission. However, enrollment is open to any English-speaking students who meet the academic and behavioral standards of the school, provided space is available at that time.
The school does not have the capacity to meet the needs of students with moderate or significant learning problems or physical disabilities.
Children enrolling in a class must have reached the required age by September 1. Those applying for entry to Kindergarten I must be four years old by the above date. For Kindergarten II, five years old is the requirement. First graders must be six years old and so on. Enrollment decisions are made by the school’s Admissions Committee.

Only complete applications will be accepted; visas and School Transfer Certificate can be submitted later. We will not be able to make any photo copies for you. Applications may be submitted between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Sunday thru Thursday.
